Villa Fortuna Holiday Resort

The hotel was in a very good place: not far away from the centre but in the countryside. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they made sure we were always accomodated and offered us their help from just a single coffee to extra shampoos and even helped us with a reservation in a nearby restaurant. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the breakfast had all the mainstream options we could ask for. We also loved ther outside sitting area as it was spring and we could enjoy the weather and nature.

We are so happy that we chose Villa Fortuna for our stay! It was very lovely. We even got an upgrate for a room, welcomed with a cup of nice cappuccino and everything we needed for the baby. The location is great, everything you need close by and only couple minutes with a bus to the city center. The staff we super lovely and even helped us at breakfast with taking care of your baby!

Nice airy room with big balcony and huge bathroom. Very good breakfast. First time I can ever recall getting real maple syrup ata hotel buffet. Only a couple or places to eat close by and both prone to unforeseen charges. Three buses stopping close by to take you to the ponte or water front/port or main shopping street. No 5, 6 and CS (left around the island) or CD (right around the island) depending on which way you are heading. When you get off the ferry walk left to the end of the street and you will find the bus station. Take 5, 6 or CD and get off just after the intersection after the Conad then it’s a five minute walk.

Great staff. We were hot and tired. The host noticed it and offered us coffee. The room was bright, clean, the terrasse was overlooking the front street and the garden. Breakfast buffet offered plenty of choices: fruits, yogourts, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, pastries, toasts, coffee etc.

Excellent size rooms. So accommodating to our young children. Lovely staff and lovey breakfast.
